GAITHERSBURG, Maryland, June 17, 2005 - Precience, Inc., a leading developer of component supplier management solutions, today unveiled it’s Tornado Environmental Compliance Management™ product built on the RosettaNet standard. OEMs and manufacturing organizations that are shipping products to the European Union market must comply with the fast approaching RoHS/WEEE legislation by July 1, 2006. The entire OEM’s product line must be re-qualified for parts and materials that are RoHS compliant. Precience now offers complete and comprehensive suite of tools that help companies manage their environmental product centric compliance. The system offers quick jump-start by offering on demand access to CAPS Expert nearly 4 million RoHS catalog part database via direct optimized integration.
